Mathematical theory of billiards is a fascinating subject with lots of interesting results from the last decades. More classical theories such as dynamical systems, geometry, probability theory are often used by investigating billiards. In this talk we are going to focus on the probabilistic point of view, i.e. similarities with random walks will be sketched. Among others these are recurrence properties of Lorentz process and the appearance of Brownian motion as some limit object.
