Markov Chains on Randomly Oriented Lattices

Consider the Random Walks on Randomly Oriented Lattices introduced by Campanino and Petritis. We explain this model and investigate a generalization which can be interpreted as a model for two-dimensional Random Walks in one-dimensional random environments. We give some recurrence/transience results and present open questions.
