Exercises from "Durrett: Probability -- 4-th edition, 2010" which I think students of the CEU course "Probability 1" during fall 2013 should mostly be able to solve before the first midterm. Some of them may be hard. Some of these solvable exercises rely on notions or theorems not covered. I will try to indicate these as "extra". As a very rough estimate: the exercises with bigger numbers are the more interesting/relevant ones. I may have overlooked the difficulty of some exercises, for which I apologize. 1.*.* , out of which 1.5.1, 1.5.2, 1.5.3, 1.5.9 and 1.7.3 are "extra" 2.1.* 2.2.1-7, of which 2.2.1 is "extra" 2.3.*, except for 2.3.4 and 2.3.17 2.4.* 3.2.*, out of which 3.2.2 and 3.3.3 are partialy hard, while 3.2.8 and 3.2.10 are "extra" 3.3.1-20, except for 3.3.18.
