This class defines a basic, discrete time stochastic process that can be subclassed. The applet is a basic shell with the main toolbar containing the step, run, stop, reset, and help buttons, and containing the update and stop controls. The class has stub methods for defining the experiment and for the step, run, stop, and reset functions. These methods must be overridden in a subclass that defines an actual random experiment. The class also has methods for adding controls to the main toolbar and for adding new toolbars. A screen shot is shown below; click on the graphic to view the live applet.
