This class defines a basic shell for an interactive exploration. Typically, the user generates the data by making choices in a game or by clicking on a number line or scatterplot. The applet is a basic shell with the main toolbar containing the reset and help buttons. The class has a stub method for the reset function, which must be overridden in a subclass that defines a real statistical game. The class also has methods for adding new controls to the main toolbar and for adding new toolbars. A screen shot is shown below; click on the graphic to view the live applet.
