How to apply

The most important information can be found here. This table contains useful details as well.

As you can see, you have to upload your CV, a copy of your passport, transcripts of the previous studies, two recommendation letters, an appropriate language certificate and the receipt of 100 euro of the application fee.

The admission procedure is divided into two parts. First, you have to complete an e-admission test (via the internet) where you receive questions from analysis, linear algebra and probability. A successful test is followed by an electronic admission interview where we check your technical knowledge, motivation, attitude and evaluate your language skills.

The tuition fee is 3500 euros per semester (for EU citizens and graduates of BME, the price is a little less). This might be larger than in your home country but is less than in most European countries giving comparable education. Plus, living costs (scroll down the opening page) are significantly smaller here.

Application is also possible within the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship.
