Stochastics for MSc students of Electrical Engineering (BMETE90MX55)

In this semester, I (Tamás Kói) am the lecturer of the course instead of Illés Horváth. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend the material available on his homepage (of course, the schedule and room numbers present there are not valid for this semester).

Dániel Keliger is the tutor. His email address is perfectumfluidum@gmail.com

An old exam. The 6th homework is parts a,b,c,d and e of the third exercise (deadline: 9th of November, 12:15)

Problem sheet 6 (it contains the 7'th homework)

Problem sheet 7 (it contains the 8'th homework)

9'th homework

Sample second midterm (the sample doesn't contain large deviation exercise, however, it is very likely that there will be one large deviation exercise in the real midterm)

Sample second midterm - Solution

Additional midterm exercises with solutions (large deviation exercises are not included, however, it is very likely that there will be one large deviation exercise in the real midterm)

The retake and re-retake tests will be held on Dec 12 between 14:00-17:10 in room E205 (for most of the students (some of you asked for alternative starting time) the first retake and the second retake will start at 14:00 and 15:35, respectively) and on Dec 16 between 14.00-15:30 in room E202, respectively. On the re-retake test, only one of the two tests can be repeated.

András Vetier's electronic probability book can fill the gaps in your basic probability knowledge (during the course the time for repetition is limited).
