The Mathematical Institute of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics  invites applications for  one- or two-year  limited term postdoctoral appointments at the Assistant Professor level beginning September 1, 2016. The applicant should have a PhD in Mathematics  obtained in 2013 or later. Preference will be given to candidates working in a research area which is recently active in our institute. However, outstanding candidates from any area will be considered. Selection will be based upon the candidate's research record and potential. The position is open to candidates of any nationality who may have a Hungarian working permission.
